My 30th Birthday Party

For the longest time I have always wanted to have a party at a pottery studio...so for my 30th birthday I planned one. I wanted the theme to be black and white with touches of red. I had fun planning and making special things for my the party. Here are the invitations I sent everyone. I spent all day making them and I think it was totally worth it!!!!
FYI: I think this is the longest post in history but I want you to get the picture of how much fun we had.

I am so grateful for all my wonderful friends!!! I would have not had fun without them. Thank you to all that came!!!!

Today

Today is a very special day.....I turn 30 today and I started my last semester of school today. Two very exciting things for me. Just wanted everyone to know!!!!

Pictures

As you can see by the Christmas card we were able to take some current pictures(thanks to Cory's parents). We took the pictures in Frisco at one of the business parks...it was a very windy day.

ICE!!

A couple of weeks ago we went to the Gaylord Texan to see the amazing Ice exhibit.

They kept the exhibit at 8 degrees...at least that is what I heard someone say while we were inside.

We had so much fun...this is a great place for children and for kids at heart.

This years theme was Who-ville from How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

The pictures don't do it it justice. I found it literally breath taking.

There was about 10 or so rooms full of uniquely carved statues.

Such great eye candy!!!!

They even had a room with two ICE slides.

Towards the end they had this awesome Nativity Scene.

Don't do it!!!!

There were Christmas trees everywhere!!!

These were real Gingerbread Men.

We had so much fun going to the Gaylord ICE exhibit.
I want to make it a yearly tradition.

Don't you hate it when things break???

So, our disposal broke and when I say broke I mean it was nasty.
FYI- what you are about to see is beyond gross, just a warning!!!!!!

Hello Christmas!!!

This year we decided to not have a traditional tree. I borrowed all these ornaments from my sister, she has a different theme every year and I liked this one.
Since this picture, I have added the tree skirt so it looks much better but at least you get the idea.
