Surprise Party

Cory threw me a Surprise Party the Friday after my birthday. I was so surprised by a house full of people screaming when I walked in the back door that I immediately slammed the door back shut. I was shaking for 10-15 minutes after I finally walked back in.
Samantha was nice enough to take some pictures of the festivities...here are a few of the ones that turned out good.

Click on the picture to enlarge it...you can see the silly string flying through the air.

This is the first thing I saw when I walked in the door.
It is probably the most beautiful birthday cake I have ever had.
Cory did a great job designing it!!!
My eyes are closed in this picture but at least you get the point.
Thank you to all our friends and family that came to help me celebrate my birthday and thank you to Cory for being so thoughtful.

My 30th Birthday Party

For the longest time I have always wanted to have a party at a pottery studio...so for my 30th birthday I planned one. I wanted the theme to be black and white with touches of red. I had fun planning and making special things for my the party. Here are the invitations I sent everyone. I spent all day making them and I think it was totally worth it!!!!
FYI: I think this is the longest post in history but I want you to get the picture of how much fun we had.

This is the party room where all the fun took place.
Here are Samantha and I setting up the food table.

The Candy Bar

The options were endless...

and the choices were endless...

The fun must begin...

Samantha, Eva and Teresa

These are two of the Topiary Trees I made just for the party
I opted for cupcakes rather than a cake

This is what you call concentration...
